Needs
There is an increasing demand for improving quality of construction and infrastructure works. Developers and Public Authorities are demanding more reliability from concrete suppliers. Alike most of the developed countries, need is there for an independent third party control to assure quality in operations and processes of RMC Plants.
The voluntary Ready Mix Concrete Plant Certification Scheme (RMCPCS) has been promoted by QCI (Quality Council of India) and laid down to meet such demand.
The scheme has been designed with the active participation and technical support of a Steering Committee led by the most important Indian stakeholders interested to assure quality in operations and processes of RMC Plants.
The Scheme
The RMC Plants Certification Scheme offers two options: RMC Capability Certification and RMC 9000+ Capability Certification.
